It is a larval host for the gray hairstreak butterfly, painted lady butterfly, common checkered skipper butterfly, tropical checkered skipper butterfly, pearly wood nymph moth, yellow scallop moth, io moth, and delightful bird-dropping moth.
These plants come from Glades County stock.
