Coral honeysuckle is a perennial vine native to Alachua County and much of Florida. It likes sun or shade and soil that is usually moist to soil that experiences short very dry periods. It is a nectar source for hummingbirds and butterflies, birds eat the seeds, and it is a larval host for spring azure and snowberry clearwing butterflies.
