Cornflower is an annual native to Europe. It is not known to be a problem species in Florida. The flowers are edible and typically dark blue. However, the seeds I got make pink flowers. It likes full to partial sun and soil with a high amount of organic matter (i.e., not sand!). Consider planting it in a raised bed or larger container.
